I absolutely love these New Balance shoes; they're incredibly comfortable and remind me of the flow I get from my Nike Alpha flys, though these are definitely wider. I was surprised by the sizing, though. Everyone said they ran true to size, but that wasn't my experience at all. I wear a 9 in Nike, and a 9.5 was too short in these. The 10 fits well, especially with a thicker sock, which helps with the extra width. Honestly, I've never worn a 10 before. Running in them feels effortless. I shaved two minutes off my 5k PR the first time I wore them! They give me the perfect boost for races and provide amazing support. Even in light rain and on poorly paved roads, the traction was fantastic, and I felt completely stable. I can't recommend them enough! They're the perfect balance of speed and support, and I'm already looking for more races just to wear them again. Just be sure to size up—I'd recommend at least a half size, maybe even a full size depending on your foot width, as I had to go up to a 10 from my usual 9.5.
